The original PUMA Roma running shoe was geared for sprints, hurdles, and sweatbands with its padded nylon-suede styling and knack for collecting medals. Inspired by the 1960 Summer Games in Rome, it made its debut one series later in Mexico City, 1968. This season we remodeled it for the green by adding a golf outsole. It has a rich combination full-grain and synthetic leather upper, along with an EVA midsole and rubber outsole. Does it still work well with sweatbands? Yes. But we'd prefer an orange flat brim.
